 When it comes to teen room decorating the ideas are as endless as your imagination. One great way to decorate your teen bedroom is to go online and look for some words or pictures you can incorporate into your bedroom theme.

Consider embellishing your teen room walls with inspirational words (like ‘dream’ or ‘love’), a favorite poem, or letters of the alphabet. Or simply spell out your name using decorative letters.

Another great decorating idea would be to create a fun border around your teen room using simple shapes or go with a motif like flowers or butterflies. The border can be a free-form and be designed in whatever way you feel compliments the rest of your bedroom. For instance, border a bulletin board or frame a mirror. The best way to create such a border is to print out your image onto adhesive paper.

Creating a patchwork of letters is another popular teen room decor idea. In this case, you simply combine a series of letters or words on one wall and using the color of the wall as background, contrast or color-match each individual letter or word.

The art itself can be made as large as desired by printing or copying onto bigger sheets of paper or spacing out the individual sections out over a larger portion of wall.

This technique is ideal for accenting drapery panels or decorating pillow cases. Other teen room decorating ideas include applying the transfer directly onto a paint canvas to highlight some of your best personal art work. Once you have the image printed on iron-on transfer paper all you have to do is cut it out and place it face down on pre-washed fabric. Once the paper is cool, it’s ready to be peeled off and voila the transfer is complete!
